I would help distinguishing the desktop, if this feature from KDE3 would be avail in KDE4 again. The "Desktop Settings" nor the "Personal Settings" toolbox allows me to set individual wallpapers per desktop. If it's part of KDE4.1 and does not work on opensuse, it should be fixed. If it was crucial to user-experience, it could have been implemented before string-freeze. Neither seems to be the case. When having a look at the KDE desktop of SLE10 products, i.e. SuSE Linux 10.1, I was able to select this feature. So I doubt that this feature is all of a sudden "new" now, or "not implemented". It's just missing. I'm wondering why this bug got closed, because the priority seems to be low. Aren't there different mechanisms in bnc to reflect this?
