[Bug 960500] New: FTP in dolphin does not respect file dates
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=960500 Bug ID: 960500 Summary: FTP in dolphin does not respect file dates Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: 2015* Hardware: Other OS: openSUSE 42.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE Workspace (Plasma) Assignee: opensuse-kde-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: r.cabane@free.fr QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 660630 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=660630&action=edit Dolphin 15.08.3 in FTP mode I'm currently using KDE Plasma 5 under OpenSuSE 42.1, Tumbleweed, and I'm using Dolphin in two-pane mode in order to copy files to an FTP server. I worked fine with Dolphin 15.08.2. Since last update (15.08.3), I cope with two misbehaviours : 1) the files and directory dates are completely wrong, all being set to 7th february 2106 (not 2016 !) 2) The path shown on the pane's top is also wrong (repeating the last directory). In the enclosed example, the directory is in fact: /httpdocs/dmanager/files/Calcul/ The first bug is really annoying. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Sorry, I'm using 42.1 / Tumbleweed
Well, there is no such thing as "42.1 / Tumbleweed"... You either use Leap 42.1 (i.e. the latest stable openSUSE release), or Tumbleweed (the rolling distribution).
and kio has version 5.17 in my system,
Ok, this seems to be Tumbleweed then. In this case you will get the fixes with the next Frameworks update (5.18.0). This is going to be released by KDE tomorrow, it will take some time until it reaches the Tumbleweed repo though (the packages have to go through review, staging, and openQA testing first). If you need the fixes now (or want to test them), I also created 5.17.0 packages with those two patches (for my own testing actually): http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/wolfi323/openSUSE_Tumbleweed... (this repo contains more stuff, you only need kio and kio-core of course) For Leap 42.1, I tested the above mentioned packages myself meanwhile, they work fine so I'm going to submit an update anyway. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
