[Bug 440076] New: block: SCSI leaks block layer timer
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=440076 Summary: block: SCSI leaks block layer timer Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: ASSIGNED Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: teheo@novell.com ReportedBy: teheo@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Block layer adds timer on elv_next_request(). SCSI thinks elv_next_request() has no side effect and when the request can't be processed right away, the peeked request is just left alone with dangling timer. This leads to WARN_ON() messages, oopses and hung SCSI host depending on how lucky the timing is. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
