The driver is iwl3945 and the WLAN is secured by WPA-PSK. Networkmanager log is attached. What I did was enabling wireless by ticking the checkbox and then created a new wireless connection in the "Manage Connection" GUI where I filled in SSID, encryption settings & key and set it to use DHCP. Then I selected my network in the plasmoid and waited for it to connect which it didn't but prompted me for the password over and over instead albeit it asked for permission to access kwallet earlier so I guess it tried to use the filled in one at first (and yes, I verified that the key is correct several times ;D) The same stuff (key & wpa) works just fine on windows so it can't be a hardware / router problem. I usually use nm widget and add my access point to it. I use WPA2-PSK in my access point. First I thought there is a problem with the kernel module or the firmware for iwl3945. But I'm unable to ping AP nor browse the web or do name resolution..
