Could you add no_console_suspend boot option, too? It's often difficult to get a log via netconsole for S3 issues, but we may have some luck.

Also, could you try S3 with nomodeset boot option? This will lead to a broken graphics but the remote access should work after the successful resume. If nomodeset survives, it implies a radeon driver problem.

About kdump: try to trigger manually by "echo c > /proc/sysrq-trigger" to see whether it really works. YaST setup is often too tight, and you may need to pass larger size (e.g. 256MB) to lower memory.
