It runs even before I log in. Anyway... It's actually working for me too now. The problem was that I was running a custom kernel with CONFIG_BT disabled (as I knew I do not need it on this machine.) Once I enable the bluetooth kernel options on this custom kernel (or simply boot with the distribution kernel) the bluetooth service no longer fails. Ideally I would like the system to be able to manage kernels with different options gracefully. The absence of /sys/class/bluetooth would be a good hint that the bluetooth daemon doesn't need to be started. However I understand that once I boot a custom kernel I'm on my own and I can no longer complain ;-) So, feel free to close this bug as invalid if you don't want to investigate further. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
