https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=302035 Summary: gcc42 installed - no compiler found Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Development AssignedTo: pth@novell.com ReportedBy: axel.braun@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Hi, I installed gcc42 plus all depending packages. As a result, it does not find the compiler gcc: a30:/usr/src/linux # gcc bash: gcc: command not found To my understanding, installing gcc42 should at least create a symbolic link to gcc, no? The symlink is part of gcc.rpm as these non-versioned packages are supposed to pull in the correct versioned packages. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
