d, load the wl driver # modprobe wl --> FATAL: Module wl not found.
Check the Broadcom's installation procedure. The wl module shall be visible by modprobe. If everything is correct the wl module shall be loaded automatically. What is the full path of the module hybrid_wl/wl.ko ?
--> load via modprobe lib80211; insmod hybrid_wl/wl.ko
In this case insmod works but the modprobe is preferred because it resolves modules dependences. Then it is not necessary to load the lib80211 manually. modprobe shall load all depending modules .
g, try to connect --> ok

/lib/modules/2.6.31.8-0.1-desktop/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/wl.ko
This is the right place.
but modprobe wl returns still FATAL: Module wl not found.
As a root run the command "depmod". Better now ? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
