diff outputs an error when processing as this sort "diff <(function $1)
<(function $2)"

Issue example: score script that comes with gocr.

I installed 12.1 at November 18th, 2011. New installation. Between that date
and November 28th, 2011, I noticed, for instance, and I know it for sure, that
the script score that comes with gocr was working well till November 28th,
2011. After that, diff it is not working well.

Changes in my system: I just installed official updates (aaa_base*, &c.) and a
lot of debug packages for report the bug 733387.
