The system installed the 4.2.6p5-3.14.1 version.
Why? To see if you have the broken or working ntp package. That one is good.
But, you wrote me a private mail that you could fix your problem by switching from UTC to localtime in YaST. So, is everything ok now for you? If yes, you maybe encountered bnc#791485, which apparently noone wants to fix for 12.2... :-( -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Please tell me, what do I have to do with this? Nothing.
The problem is that if you reinstall the aaa_base package, your system will be switched to UTC. You have to switch back to localtime then manually. But otherwise you should be fine... So, does it work for you now? Or do you still have problems? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

all right thanks
OK, so I would say this bugreport can be closed. Not sure if the OP's problem is solved or does still exist, but I guess that was also caused by one of the two bugs I mentioned... (most probably the ntp one) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Ok I agree with you that's not the best solution for this(my) problem...
I have seen your patch that you have attached
https://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=522463
But I am a beginner...
Please tell me, what do I have to do with this?
Thanks
JFYI: A fixed aaa_base package is now in the Update repo for 12.2, so it should not happen anymore. Closing as WORKSFORME now as of comment#10. (Maybe the correct status would be NORESPONSE, since the OP hasn't responded since 6 months?) @OP: Please feel free to reopen if you still have this problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
