What I am getting at is there obviously is now current way the GUI can recover or revert to non-automated if anything goes wrong. If you are happy to leave Installation automated - that great - You have also indicated above that if Auto Installation fails for any reason - it currently ABENDS leaving the user with console prompt. I cannot believe you are not willing to change auto-install to be able to recover from any current ABEND and present the GUI back on the screen for user to manually intervention to completion - as in this request.
