Parts of two log files are added as attachments. THe system was running about 8 hrs before the error, and I am not aware of anything unique going on at the time. The kernel was updated during testing for another bug - http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=559740 and that information was not saved; and, I have reverted to the default kernel where the problem has not reoccured. I am assuming that providing the requested information from the default kernel will not be of any value.
