Using Monodevelopment 2.4 with OpenSuse 12.1 DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install 12.1
2. Try Mono

Actual Results:  
product fails to launch and always throws an exception.
Expected Results:  
error occurs
Mono worked in 11.4;  what is wrong in 12.1?????????????????????
