If I type the root password I become root, but without a prompt. (whoami returns "root") I can execute other commands as root in that "shell", but I exit it as soon as I hit Ctrl+C (instead of the usual Ctrl+D). /var/log/messages records properly: su: (to root) clange on none -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
