[Bug 591682] New: Using Skype Video scaling libraries stopped working with kde4.4 upgrade
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=591682 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=591682#c0 Summary: Using Skype Video scaling libraries stopped working with kde4.4 upgrade Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Factory Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: martin@etainable.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.0) Gecko/20100115 SUSE/3.6.0-2.1 Firefox/3.6 Skype (qt4.4 application) Video stopped working with QT4.6 (as shipped with Kde 4.4). The "see myself" window is grey and clients on other end only see 1 of the 16 quadrants of the screen. I suspect that the "forward compatablity" claimed by the qt4 folks is a myth. Don't know which qt module this is in. Thinking it makes most sense for openSUSE to work this as part of the QT libraries distibuted with KDE4.4. Camera is using uvcVideo driver, (Logitech 9000) and works with "Cheese" application. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use Case 1: open skype -> open options -> click on use video preview for default video device 2. Use Case 2: Open video call to windows client (or one that works with video) 3. Use Case 3: Try to use "double size" received video from other end Actual Results: Case Case 1: No video shown in preview. (grey window). Use Case 2: Other end reports only seeing corner of video window Use Case 3: Window frame resizes but video does not scale Expected Results: Use Case 1: Preview of full camera view. Use Case 2: See full video window on remote end Use case 3: Video window resize and pixilates -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
