I tested a recompiled version compiled with openSUSE:12.2:Update . I didn't have a problem. I've tested this one. I also tested with fwbuilder included in openSUSE. This one was also OK. I have a question regarding this problem. Does fwbuilder crash right away? Can you please test with the fwbuilder included with openSUSE:12.2, this is basically the same version as in home:worldcitizen. Updated versions can be found in security, this one is currently the same one as in openSUSE:12.2. I advice to use these packages in stead of the packages in home:worldcitizen. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

" Speicherzugriffsfehler ---------------------------------------- and I attach the file here, 4.5MB The start of the app is OK, then I open my config, select View->Editor Panel, and it crashes. The editor panel used to be open all the time, don't know why that changed. I use rcs the version the config, and opened older versions - all seem to crash. OK, I tried to run fwbuilder, created a blank config, firewalls, cluster.... doesn't crash. Could it be crashing because my config file is damaged? Very strange - as I said, using RCS I went back to older versions. Anyway, here the strace. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The latests as the previous versions. Where these files previously OK in fwbuilder-5.1.0.3599 or in another fwbuilder version? By which version of fwbuilder have these configurations be created. What was the latest date they been been modified successfully? For which type of filewall is this configuration file: iptables, Cisco * ? Are you using the user or the standard tree and at which position are you in the tree when you open the Editor Panel ? Can you select another item and open the editor panel again, see if it crashes again? To rule out that you're fwbuilder settings are OK you can try: mv ~/.config/netcitadel.com ~/.config/netcitadel.com.orig After testing you can do: mv ~/.config/netcitadel.com ~/.config/netcitadel.com.test mv ~/.config/netcitadel.com.orig ~/.config/netcitadel.com -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
