[Bug 1026638] New: pasting to vim with shift broken after update to 296
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1026638 Bug ID: 1026638 Summary: pasting to vim with shift broken after update to 296 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Usability Assignee: idonmez@suse.com Reporter: jslaby@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- While being in the command mode, I used to select a number somewhere (usually line number in other terminal) and paste it to vim while holding shift. Then I pressed G and it jumped to the line number. But starting with revision 296 (when updated from 194), this does not work anymore. When I paste the number, it is put into the text, not into the command buffer. I always had mouse=a. Reverting to the older version, while preserving the configs, makes it work again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Well, IMO, bracketed mode should be enabled only in insert mode and I do not see any option to do so.
You are right, care to report it to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/vim_dev ? Otherwise, I can do it. Thanks for the bisect! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
