Sometimes they are downloaded correctly, but usually not. These bugs can be traced on this report: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=68355. At the moment it seems that big downloads or downloads that will take more than 5 minutes to download to get corrupted. Occasionally, the download stops suddenly for large files, like CD images, but it's a bit hard to tell whether the problem is caused by the browser, because this happens quite rarely.
