Could you provide the output of "dhcpcd -Td -t 10 -NYRG -c /bin/true eth0" [adopt "eth0" to interface name on your system]. You should be able to do it by switching to a text console in the installer (Ctrl-Alt-F2 .. F6). You don't need to complete/continue the installation, I just want to see which configuration the dhcp server provides. Further, it would be interesting to see what is in your /etc/resolv.conf; perhaps there is a "manual" change and netconfig refuses to overwrite it? Can you boot the system in runlevel 2 or 1 [no network] execute cat /etc/resolv.conf after the login and provide the output? You must be using systemd to boot not sysvinit. I get this error message now: dhclient[2458]: send_packet6:Cannot assigned requested address dhclient[2458]: dhc6: send_packet6() sent -1 of 54 bytes dhcpcd[2440]: eth0: Failed to lookup hostname via DNS: Name of service not known.
