[Bug 1119953] New: Raspberry Pi 3B shows crash during boot after update to kernel-default-4.4.165-81.1
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1119953 Bug ID: 1119953 Summary: Raspberry Pi 3B shows crash during boot after update to kernel-default-4.4.165-81.1 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: aarch64 OS: openSUSE 42.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: freek@opensuse.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I did an update, "zypper up --no-r", on my Raspberry Pi 3B using openSUSE 42.3 which updated the kernel to kernel-default-4.4.165-81.1. After a reboot the system shows the GRUB screen and after the timeout it starts the system after which it shows some kind of dump message, about 10 lines, and does a reboot, which fails again. Shown on a display via HDMI. I used GRUB to boot the previous kernel, which succeeded using the serial connection. This is meant to be a 24/7 system, so I did not catch the output mentioned above on the serial line. If really needed I can do that. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
