It is part of the FTP tree and it is also on the retail DVD9. There is no way to squeeze it onto the 5 CDs or the regular, downloadable DVD. This affects many other packages, too, not just wxGTK-devel, and should really become a big fat FAQ some day to avoid these bug reports. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=226030 ------- Comment #2 from kern@sibbald.com 2006-12-05 09:20 MST ------- Well, I must be missing something here, because unlike 10.1, the installation process setup the repositories for me -- at least an update repository, so I assumed it would be there, but it is not. I did read all the release notes, and I don't recall seeing anything noted. In addition, I click on the repositories on the main web page, and there is no repository listed for 10.2. Bottom line, I have no idea where the FTP tree is located, though I will try the same locations that I am getting 10.1 but with a suitable version change ... I think the solution is to publish the location of the binary repositories as you do for version 10.1 and before. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=226030 ------- Comment #3 from andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de 2006-12-05 09:29 MST ------- An FTP tree for openSUSE 10.2 does not exist because openSUSE 10.2 is not released. Update repository != installation repository. For unreleased versions, the FTP tree is called "Factory" and documented here: http://en.opensuse.org/Development_Version Of course it has wxGTK-devel in it: http://ftp.estpak.ee/pub/suse/opensuse/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-sour... The final tree will be called differently and it will not be made available before Dec 7th, the release date of openSUSE 10.2. The mirror administrators need this time in order to prevent a collapse. This will not be documented in the release notes, but in the opensuse.org wiki. The repository is not yet listed in the wiki because it does not exist yet, but will be prominently listed there the day after tomorrow. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=226030 ------- Comment #4 from kern@sibbald.com 2006-12-05 09:53 MST ------- OK, thanks. I understand the problem better and now that I have re-read the Factory document with a little more attention, I see that the repository is referred to as the Internet Installation Repository. Please consider this bug resolved, you have fixed my problem and very quickly at that. Thanks. :-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
