Sounds like the usual XAUTHLOCALHOST issue. If you fix the hostname to equal what xauth list shows, does it work?
There was no static hostname set. Setting one solved the issue. I tried a new install in VM and the same issue. Again no static hostname or dhcp hostname is set -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
