https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=227854 ------- Comment #7 from fred.blaise@gmail.com 2007-01-02 03:54 MST ------- I think I should add that this bug comes only when suspending via the Gnome Power Manager applet. If I suspend directly from the s2ram command line script, this doesn't occur. Bug in gnome-power-manager? (Wifi has troubles with g-p-m to wake up, and none with s2ram) Sending a mail to Richard Hughes to get him aware of this. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Sorry! I don't know why it would be different for a HAL init'ed suspend, but you might want to have a look in hal-system-power-suspend and see what command is set to be run on your system." -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

But this will also set the next cpu to another governor (performance) .. and in the end (on resume) the setting of the (wrong) gorvernor will also overwrite the governors of the other cpus. The patch attached (in a few seconds) will contain a proposal to fix this via first saving the states and afterwards settin the cores to performance for suspend. I tested this on the T60p here and it works just fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
