You might be using Nvidia driver, right? s2disk seems to segfault when there is no framebuffer in order to show the splash screen. As a workaround, you can disable splash for s2disk setting splash to n in suspend.conf: /etc/suspend.conf: splash = n This will prevent s2disk to try to use splash and the crash will not occur. Opensuse guys, this might be related to some OpenSuSE specific patch. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

This package will not be present in future opensuse versions as it has been replaced by systemd's suspend functionality. Please consider uninstalling pm-utils. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

It seems that it still calls pm-utils. As 13.1 is still alive, why close as wontfix? It is a current bug that affects multiple users. I guess it should be kept open until EOL of 13.1 or a proper workaround is implemented. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
