[Bug 953508] New: Update repo has i586 folder - it shouldn't!
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=953508 Bug ID: 953508 Summary: Update repo has i586 folder - it shouldn't! Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.1 Hardware: All OS: openSUSE 42.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Maintenance Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: zaitor@opensuse.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/42.1/oss/i586/ This folder contains plain i586/i686 packages. Since we are doing this release as x86_64, and have no i586 folder in the main distro folder, we should not "pollute" the update stream with i586 pakages. Please make sure that this folder does not get published. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Confirmed good with the Firefox update, which is now x86_64 only.
Question is if we should unlock the previously locked incidents or should leave it as-is.
I'd vote not to touch the released packages; but that's just me - they don't really cause issues (besides a few MB storage) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/42.1/oss/i586/ is empty now anyway, I suppose everything is done, since nobody is supposed to have installed those previously published packages anyway. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
