The suggestion is to upgrade the packages from antivir-based guard to the savapi3-based guard. I can not really understand your statement with the change install location. You sad that this was changed into /usr/lib/AntiVir/guard. i talked to the maintainer. he said the file was originally used by the smcplugins, but he did some changes. he also said, this file is no longer needed and it is obsolete, thats why the file was not updated. unfortunately the file was not removed from the package.
