https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=759837 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=759837#c0 Summary: gnome-shell crashes on login Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jpschewe@mtu.net QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=488768) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=488768) ~/.xsession-errors User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/535.19 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/18.0.1025.162 Safari/535.19 This was working until I applied the security updates last week. Now when I try and login using gnome as my desktop I get a black screen with the error that something failed to load. I try turning off the switch and logging in again and it still doesn't work. Attached is my xsession-errors file. I see a stack trace in it about gtk stuff. Let me know what other information you'd like from me to help track this down.
