Install nut and nut-classic from openSUSE-11.2 OSS 2. Connect the UPS to USB (there is a device/dev/ttyUSB0) which it is registered in /etc/ups/ups.conf .. [myups] driver = powercom port =/dev/ttyUSB0 type = IMP .. 3. Start service upsd (if upsd starts not from root are necessary for exposing beforehand to the user upsd the appropriate rights on/dev/ttyUSB0). 4. Check: upsc myups@localhost Actual Results: battery.charge: 0.0 .. driver.parameter.type: KIN .. ups.mfr: PowerCom ups.model: KIN-425AP ups.model.type: KIN ..
