It runs "kdesu --nonewdcop -- yast2 -i /home/file.rpm". Unfortunately there is no any info from YaST about status of installation. YaST doesn't inform user if was able to install this package or not. Even if we don't offer to add missing dependencies if needed, shouldn't there be some error message if the installation fails? On my beta 2+ 'yast2 -i' the window just pops up and vanishes although the package was not installed. Another posisbility might be to run the instalaltion via zypper (well, the feedback could be only in a terminal). But yast started correctly in the both runs. I tested installing RPM in Alpha4 and it works fine. When I try to install RPM that can not be installed because of missing dependencies, YaST gives me nice info about this.
