actually, it says above WARNING: CPU: 2 ... drivers/base/firmware_class.c:1114
so not an actual crash but probably still someone one does not want to see
Ah, I see. To be more precise, during the update process, when the problem occurred Xorg was closed and zypper update process was stopped.
