What ever I set the option for result when pushing the power button in gnome-power-manger (ask, suspend, hibernate...) The button appears to be ignored or there is no notification getting passed up that the button was pushed. If it's set to 'shutdown', everything seems to work. The popup you do get is the same one you would see if you just hit CTRL-ALT-DEL. Power button and CTRL-ALT-DEL present same options. Logout, Lock, Shutdown, Restart. 2. Computer -> shutdown - Shutdown, Restart, Sleep, Hibernate 3. I can left-click power manager and get suspend/hibernate options. So I guess the problem here is that the power button binding in gpm should probably display the shutdown dialog, not the logout one. These are different, but g-p-m seems to be calling it correctly.
