Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start KDE live CD (with e.g. 1024x768) 2. start randr tool 3. change screen size to 800x600. (32 & 64-bit) I'm using the default 12MB of video RAM in VirtualBox. (changing to 32MB makes no difference). 3D is always inactive. Maybe this bug is a side effect of bug 522025, but I don't think so.
