Sorry, but there is no generic solution for that :-( I have submitted the patch for the wrong error message again and we will take it from there. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Seife wouldn't it be possible to start hid2hci by default? Ubuntu 7.10 live CDs work out of the box ... Did yast2-bluetooth do this earlier? It did work when I set it up with yast long time ago. ;) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

One problem is, that you still need to do "insserv bluetooth", since the bluetooth subsystem won't get started by the hotplug infrastructure (there is no bluetooth adapter until you do "hid2hci"...) and i don't want to start it by default on machines without BT adapter... (It would cause problems for people that use their HID dongle as a HID dongle, without all the bluez stuff for example...) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The only thing I can imagine going wrong is, that the HID dongle is not detected as a bluetooth device and thus bluetooth is not auto-started by the hot/coldplug mechanism. In that case, you need to "insserv bluetooth" to enable the bluetooth init script unconditionally. If that is the case, please report back (even though I would not know how to fix that, but I could at least document it). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
