The installer doesn't do dhcp for any found NIC if it's an Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme II BCM5709. The only file in /var/log is boot.msg, the folder YaST2 is empty. save_y2logs is nowhere to be found. It works now. So we can close this BUG if the issue with udev not looking into /lib/firmware (https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=757655) is fixed in the next release. But the problem is that the directory is missing in the ISO. Stephan who should we inform to fix this in the ISO initrd? For the latest RC-initrds this isn't working anymore.
