[Bug 397980] New: bluetooth devices do not reconnect after reboot
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=397980 Summary: bluetooth devices do not reconnect after reboot Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Usability AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: clarkt@cnsp.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer Attaching a bluetooth device (mouse) is difficult using the kde3 routines in kde4. Once a connection is made, the device, a bt mouse, will work until you reboot. After rebooting, you have to reopen the bluetooth wizard and delete the connection, rediscover, and attempt to connect. It may take several attempts to reconnect to the device. In 10.3 once the device was connected, it would reconnect after a reboot. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The reconnect should work. The only thing you have to do manually ATM is to restart kdebluetooth4 after reboot, to get the authorization dialogs that may appear on reconnects. But, in the new kdebluetooth4-devicemanager you can set devices as 'trusted' to avoid such authorization requests. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
