I don't see anything about dvb in the output from comment 8. Are you sure the device is connected? https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=655461 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=655461#c12 --- Comment #12 from Matthias Pfafferodt <syntron@web.de> 2011-01-13 10:22:43 UTC --- The device is an internal (pci) dvb-t dual tuner card (Hauppauge Nova-T 500 Dual DVB-T). It used an on-board usb 2 device to connect the dvb-t tuners to the computer. For kernels up to 2.6.26 it is working fine (it is recogniced as usb 2) but for 2.6.37-debug there is a timeout for this (usb) device: <7>[ 8.700138] usb 2-1: khubd timed out on ep0in len=0/46 <3>[ 8.700145] usb 2-1: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/all <3>[ 8.700321] usb 2-1: can't read configurations, error -110 Thus, it is not connected as usb 2 but as usb 1. As the card needs usb 2 it is not working (see comment #5). I will try 2.6.37 final and report the results -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The first one is working while the dvb-t card is not correctly found by the second kernel. Besides the errors on booting 'lsusb -vv' shows differences. I did include the error messages in the output ('lsusb -vv > file 2>&1'): can't get device qualifier: Connection timed out cannot read device status, Broken pipe (32) I will attach the boot messages as well as the output of 'lspci -vv' and 'lsusb -vv' for both kernels. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
