On the virtual console just as YaST fires up, the following error is spewed to the screen: error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - No such file or directory (2) This factory install was done around Sun Feb 1 10:32:57 CST 2009 Using the openSUSE-Factory-NET-x86_64-Build0014-Media.iso ISO. I'll attach the y2logs even though I suspect they aren't relevant. Might not be yast2 but wasn't sure where to file it.
