https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=462872 Summary: Suspend/Hibernate crash desktop session after resume Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: xavier@wflogistics.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- HI, I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T61 running openSUSE 11.1 Every time it resume from suspend or hibernate in a open KDE 4 desktop session, instead of get a password dialog to unblock the session it crash without showing nothing (even a crash report dialog, just a black screen) then returns to KDM. I try to use just kwin (withou effects) to see if compiz was the problem but is the same. So, because of this I cannot use suspend/hibernate. This happened since ever (with openSUSE 11.1). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The default configuration of openSUSE 11.1 is to use EXA, but I change it because of strange visual "noise" when compiz start that not happen when using XAA, also I feel better performance using XAA. I change back to EXA and now I can resume from suspend/hibernate to the open KDE desktop session, but now I have the strange visual noise back. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
