[Bug 1110472] New: hidpp20_batterylevel_get_battery_capacity: received protocol error 0x09
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1110472 Bug ID: 1110472 Summary: hidpp20_batterylevel_get_battery_capacity: received protocol error 0x09 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: rombert@apache.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I am using openSUSE Tumbleweed (kernel 4.18.8-1-default) on a Lenovo W541 laptop. I am connecting a Logitech M330 mouse and a Logitech K800 keyboard using a single unifying adapter. Recently my input has started freezing for 1-2 seconds with the following messages found in the dmesg output: [318259.268824] logitech-hidpp-device 0003:046D:4057.0004: hidpp20_batterylevel_get_battery_capacity: received protocol error 0x09 I _think_ that the battery indicator on my keyboard lights up more frequently, but I'm not sure if it really is correlated with the locking up. I am using the Logitech devices only occasionally so I can't tell when this appeared, but at least in the 10-12 September interval the problem was not there. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
