That's why I've put the 15 minute example. 2. Leave the destop alone for an external period (e.g. 15 minutes) And I did not touch any of the screensaver settings. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

And I did not touch any of the screensaver settings.
Well, this could explain it, because "Require password after: ..." is _turned off_ by default. You can check that in KDE's systemsettings. (Hardware->Display and Monitor->Screen Locker) If you turn that option on, you should have to type in your password as expected. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Guess I expected it to be turned on by default - my bad. I'll closed it then. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
