http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1188767 Bug ID: 1188767 Summary: DVD tray ejects on waking from suspend Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-bugs@opensuse.org Reporter: psychonaut@nothingisreal.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- I have an openSUSE Tumbleweed system running on an x86-64 desktop system with a DVD-ROM drive. With kernel-default-5.13.1 or kernel-default-5.13.2, my DVD tray automatically ejects whenever the computer resumes from suspend. The problem does not occur with kernel-default-5.12.13. Steps to reproduce: 1. Boot to kernel-default-5.13.1 or kernel-default-5.13.2 2. Switch to a text console and log in as root 3. systemctl suspend 4. Let the computer suspend, then press a key to wake it up Observed behaviour: 5. Computer resumes from suspend and the DVD tray ejects and remains open Expected behaviour: 5. Computer should resume from suspend and DVD tray should remain closed -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
