Steps to reproduce: 1. install java-1_6_0-sun=plugin 2. If there's no link /usr/lib/opera/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so, type as root update-alternatives --install \ /usr/lib/opera/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so \ javaplugin_opera \ /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.6.0-sun-1.6.0/jre/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so \ 1600 3. Run opera -debugplugin Result (legacy plugin): Only the new plugin is loaded. The legacy was not shown.
