[Bug 856165] New: RealCrypt (TrueCrypt) doesn't work because loop device wasn't modprobed
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=856165 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=856165#c0 Summary: RealCrypt (TrueCrypt) doesn't work because loop device wasn't modprobed Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dibro@gmx.de QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.63 Safari/537.36 RealCrypt needs the loop device which isn't loaded. A simple 'modprobe loop' and it works temporary well. Or better, add the loop device permanent to modprobe: echo "loop" > /etc/modules-load.d/realcrypt.conf Is there a reason that the loop device isn't modprobed? As far as I remember in 12.2 or 12.1 RealCrypt worked out of the box.
