I tried this at the beginning of switching to X.Org 7 but finally gave up. :-( How important is this really? Could we live with that bug? tail -5 README For instance, some packagers/sites may prefer: --with-xdmconfigdir=/etc/X11/xdm --with-xdmlibdir=$(prefix)/lib/xdm --with-xdmscriptdir=/etc/X11/xdm
