[Bug 1141027] New: Multiple issues with libebml and libmatroska in Leap
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1141027 Bug ID: 1141027 Summary: Multiple issues with libebml and libmatroska in Leap Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.1 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: rpm@fthiessen.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- There was a bug in libebml < 1.3.7 leading to invalid handling of Unicode codepoints > U+FFFF. And in libmatroska there were two bugs: a potential access to invalid memory and a potential null pointer dereference. LibMatroska Changelog: * KaxBlock: fixed a potential access to invalid memory due to invalid lace sizes read from invalid data. * KaxBlock: fixed a potential null pointer dereference triggerable by reading invalid data. I reporting this as one bug, as libmatroska requires the latest libebml version. This bug is valid for 15.0 and 15.1. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
