https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=374711 Summary: Brightness keys do not work on Thinkpad T61 Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: felix.rommel@web.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Brightness keys do not work on Thinkpad T61. I attach lspci output so that you can see which components are included. I also attach a patch for this problem. I have edited the file /usr/lib/hotkey-setup/thinkpad_hotkey_handler and inserted belower line 132 some commands which were described in ThinkWiki portal. No it works ok - keys could be a bit more responsive but it is enough to adjust brightness. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

But I do not think that this is the problem. Brightness keys on my T61 do not work in (K)Ubuntu, too. Even after a fresh install. If I have time I will check it again with a fresh openSUSE install. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
