At mine it looked like all three tried to run mkinitrd, but of course only the last one of the set has a complete set and can really succeed. So in short: I had the same 'warnings' and rebooted without any issues. I'm not sure if it's something really new or if it's just because zypper now shows those warnins. Pretty sure they were there before, but unremarked.
