https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=250797 Summary: mono-1.2.2 : Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value(s) Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 1plus Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Mono AssignedTo: bnc-team-mono@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dcb314@hotmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de I just tried to build package beagle-quickfinder-1.0.0-45 with valgrind on Suse Linux 10.3 Alpha 1. I used command line valgrind -q --trace-children=yes rpmbuild -bc beage-quickfinder.spec The output contains + make PLATFORM=linux INSTALL_LIB_DIR=/usr/lib64 ==8841== Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value(s) ==8841== at 0x4D835B: (within /usr/bin/mono) ==8841== by 0x4D6A55: (within /usr/bin/mono) ==8841== by 0x4D1347: (within /usr/bin/mono) ==8841== by 0x4D968F: (within /usr/bin/mono) ==8841== by 0x4DBC99: (within /usr/bin/mono) ==8841== by 0x4DBF76: (within /usr/bin/mono) ==8841== by 0x4DA461: (within /usr/bin/mono) ==8841== by 0x4DA5DB: (within /usr/bin/mono) ==8841== by 0x4DF99D: (within /usr/bin/mono) ==8841== by 0x415B8E: mono_main (in /usr/bin/mono) ==8841== by 0x5D6B943: (below main) (in /lib64/libc-2.5.so) ==8841== So it seems that mono-1.2.2 is at fault. You need to use the Mono suppressions file if you want avoid getting those errors (mono.supp in mono/data). This does not contain any information about that this bug is supposed to be, other than an incorrect valgrind report. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Righto - I will do that then. I suspect this bug can now be closed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
