[Bug 503223] New: nscd takes 100% CPU for minutes
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=503223 Summary: nscd takes 100% CPU for minutes Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: suse-beta@cboltz.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer My nscd sometimes "decides" to take 100% CPU load for minutes. This happened to me twice in the last week. I can workaround with "rcnscd stop". Unfortunately I have no idea _why_ this happens and would welcome debugging instructions. It would be most helpful if you could use the gcore command to grap a core dump of the running nscd the next time it starts eating all the CPU. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
