The on-device display has 1024x600 while X server runs on 1024x768. Thus, the bottom menus aren't displayed. This is fixed by setting the empty string to /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager:DISPLAYMANAGER_RANR_MODE_VGA. The default value was "auto".
